By marrying insights from psychology and law, SMU Assistant Professor of Law Gary Low aims to answer questions such as how laws should function to protect consumers before and after their purchase. A classically trained lawyer, Assistant Prof Low practised shipping law before entering academia. Now based in Singapore, he has turned his attention to commercial laws in the region, a relatively unexplored area with much potential for research.
