Singapore, 2 December 2022 (Friday) – The Institute of Service Excellence (ISE) (卓越服务研究院)at Singapore Management University (SMU) today released the 2022 third quarter (Q3) Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) results for the Food & Beverage and Tourism sectors.

Singapore, 3 November 2022 (Thursday) – According to the latest Annual Report released by Singapore Management University’s (SMU) Pro Bono Centre (PBC) for the period January to September 2022, the number of cases seen by the Centre’s Legal Clinic rose by 14.8% to 155 cases, compared with 135 for the same period in 2021.  The most common types of cases seen in the same period were those related to family (14.8%), employment (13.9%), tenancy (13.5%) and criminal (11.1%).

Singapore, 4 November 2022 (Friday) – Commemorating its 20th anniversary, the Wee Kim Wee Centre (WKWC) is unveiling the new Wee Kim Wee Room at Singapore Management University (SMU), which houses some of the original belongings of former President Wee Kim Wee and Mrs Wee, and formally launching the Wee Kim Wee Heritage Fund. The WKWC, housed in SMU’s College of Integrative Studies, aims to advance learning and dialogue about major cross-cultural issues.

Singapore, 28 October 2022 (Friday) – Singapore Management University (SMU) today officially launched a new seven-storey multi-use building that adds over 12,700 square metres of teaching, learning, research and faculty space to its footprint. The ceremony was officiated by Guest-of-Honour Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, in the presence of 250 guests and SMU faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Singapore, 27 October 2022 (Thursday) – The Singapore Management University’s (SMU) School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) has launched a new SMU-KPMG Analytics and Cloud Technology Work Study Programme in partnership with Google. Students enrolled in this programme will acquire a Google Career Certificate via a scholarship before embarking on a six-month extended internship with KPMG.
