SMU’s Business Families Institute has introduced a framework to help philanthropists deploy capital, collaborate with partners, and support innovative solutions for lasting societal impact. The report, led by Associate Professor Kenneth Goh, encourages a long-term approach and highlights the value of the 'Moonshot' strategy alongside traditional funding. While Governments face challenges in justifying high-risk initiatives, philanthropists can drive change by supporting ambitious ideas.
