The first international exhibition of India’s renowned modern artist Hemen Mazumdar is currently being held at the de Suantio Gallery, SMU School of Social Sciences, till 17 February 2019. The exhibition, which showcases 37 artworks by Hemen Mazumdar, comes primarily from the art collection of SMU Lee Kong Chian Professor of Marketing Nirmalya Kumar, who is also the sponsor of the exhibition. Titled “Hemen Mazumdar: The Last Romantic”, the exhibition is curated by Dr Caterina Corni, who is an art consultant, curator and Associate Professor of Art History at Symbiosis University.
