SMU Vice Provost (Undergraduate Matters and Student Development) Professor Pang Yang Hoong has been appointed to the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) for a two-year term, with effect from April 1, 2017. Prof Pang was appointed the first dean of SMU's School of Accountancy in 2000. Prior to joining SMU, she was the head of the division of auditing and taxation at the School of Accountancy and Business, NTU.
