Ms Kathy Lai who is currently the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IE Singapore, will be the new CEO of the National Arts Council from November 1, 2013. She takes over from former CEO Benson Puah, who relinquished his position on August 1. While still serving under IE, Ms Lai had spearheaded several partnerships, including its collaboration with SMU to start the university's International Trading Institute.
