Shanti will begin her four-year undergraduate programme at the School of Accountancy from August 2017.
Singapore, 24 March 2017 (Friday) – Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) has made an endowed contribution of $400,000 to SMU for the SICC International Exchange Scholarship (“Scholarship”) which was established in 2005.
Together with the government matching grant, the Scholarship will generate three exchange scholarships annually and in perpetuity.

Singapore, 1 March 2017 (Wednesday) – SMU has launched a bold new initiative called SMU Access which guarantees that every financially needy incoming Singaporean student will receive a financial aid package equal to the student’s full tuition fees. This will effectively make the entire university education tuition-free for eligible students.
Eligibility for SMU Access is based only on the student’s household economic circumstances such as per capita income and housing type, with no academic qualification requirements. SMU Access is bond-free.
Singapore, 22 February 2017 (Wednesday) - The Singapore Management University (SMU) announced today that it has appointed Associate Professor Goh Yihan as the new Dean of the SMU School of Law (SOL), following an extensive and rigorous global search that started in September 2016. Associate Professor Goh, who is currently the Associate Dean (Research) at SOL, will succeed Professor Yeo Tiong Min S.C.
