Yangon, 6 July 2017 (Thursday) – Singapore Management University (SMU) has today organised its inaugural Industry Leaders Dialogue in Myanmar to discuss the role of higher education and human capital development to support Myanmar’s rapid growth and transformation. SMU also launched its International Advisory Council in Myanmar to establish, strengthen and deepen SMU’s collaboration and engagement with the government, academic and business communities in the country.
Singapore, 28 June 2017 (Wednesday) – The Institute of Service Excellence (ISE) at the Singapore Management University (SMU) (新加坡管理大学卓越服务研究院) released the 2017 Q1 Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) results for the Retail and Info-Communications sectors today.
A total of 6,070 locals and 830 tourists were surveyed in face-to-face interviews between January 2017 and April 2017 on their satisfaction levels with entities within the Retail and Info-Communications sectors.

Singapore, 17 April 2017 (Monday) – Singapore Management University’s Professor Robert Deng, a leading global authority and award winning researcher in cybersecurity, has today been conferred the prestigious AXA Chair Professorship of Cybersecurity.
The Singapore Management University has announced today that with effect from 1 July 2017, Professor Paulin Straughan 郑宝莲 will be appointed the next Dean of Students 学生事务总监. She takes over from Professor Ong Siow Heng 王绍恒, who will be appointed in a new role as Dean of International Affairs 国际事务总监.
