At the SMU Visionary Series held on 20 November 2025, Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy delivered a lecture on “Leadership Lessons from the Infosys Journey”, advising people to focus on improving the lives of others rather than complaining about working long hours. The fourth Singapore-India Hackathon, to be held in 2026, was also launched in the presence of Mrs Pooja Tillu, Deputy High Commissioner of India to Singapore. Moreover, SMU President Professor Lily Kong said that the University will soon set up a new India International Advisory Council, which will be chaired by Uday Kotak, Founder of Kotak Mahindra Bank. SMU will also establish its fourth overseas centre in Shenzhen, China.
