Local institution teams up with Singaporean and British universities to offer valuation and appraisal courses across five Asian locations

On 27 August 2025, the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS) signed a memorandum of understanding with SMU and the London School of Business and Finance to provide training support for the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) programme across five Asian markets. SMU will deliver courses locally as well as in Indonesia and Thailand, while the London school will cover Malaysia and India. The programme will be rolled out in phases from 2026, targeting valuation professionals. Supported by SMU’s Overseas Centres in Jakarta and Bangkok, the programme will offer two intakes each year, with a planned launch in Singapore in January 2026, and Indonesia and Thailand in July 2026.
