The 2024 Graduate Employment Survey highlights SMU’s strong graduate employability, with an overall employment rate of 89.8 per cent and continued upward trajectory in salaries despite lower hiring demand. SMU Provost Professor Timothy Clark attributed this success to SMU’s experiential learning model, stating that the University’s emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, experiential internships, and close industry collaboration ensures graduates are not just job-ready, but future-ready.
