SMU alumna Sarah Teo is a recent graduate of the SMU Juris Doctor programme at the SMU Yong Pung How School of Law. She is currently a trainee with Drew & Napier LLC, specialising in both commercial and family disputes. She actively provides free legal services, and has accumulated over 70 hours of pro bono service. Last November, she was awarded the Spirit of Pro Bono Award by the University. Sarah shared that while the award serves as a recognition for her efforts, she derived her satisfaction from assisting the pro bono lawyers and knowing that she made a small difference in the lives of their clients.
