SMU student Chen Zhikai suffers from a hearing disability, but this did not deter him from pursuing his interest in ball sports. He is currently studying law in SMU and is also an active Boys’ Brigade leader, where his exceptional performance in the Boy's Brigade won him the President's Award two years ago. Last month, he was awarded the Asia Pacific Breweries Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities.
