SMU student Nurin Qistina, a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Information Systems) and specialising in Smart-City Management and Technology, said her experience in learning coding through online gaming got her interested in technology. Following her interest in technology, she was among two students to receive funding of $1,500 and guidance under the 'Codette Cares' programme.
