SMU students Wan Dingyao and Sim Cher Boon are members of the SMU Whitehat Society made up of ethical hackers who specialise in penetration testing and other testing methodologies to benchmark an organisation’s information systems security. The students shared that to be a Whitehat, one has to be willing to learn, not be afraid to fail, and is able to think out of the box.
