Entrepreneur seeks to broaden his horizons and knowledge with internship at Alibaba

SMU School of Information Systems’ graduate Jackson Kwa chose to forego a career in the information technology sector to become an entrepreneur. He founded TechSociety in 2013 to impart coding and programming skills to children and young people in Singapore and the region. Jackson was one of nine winners of the inaugural Singapore Valley Awards, set up by five China-centric entrepreneurs. He will be starting his three-month internship at Alibaba Group in China this month.
