Three students from the SMU School of Information Systems – Ong Rong Sheng, Benedict Soh Yuan Jie and Ong Hong Hng – founded OneSilicon Studio in 2016 to design corporate websites and develop mobile apps, relying solely on their creativity and skills. Due to the rapidly evolving technology, the trio set aside time to take up short courses such as coding to help the development of their company. To contribute back to society, they are developing the SG MRT Mapper app to reduce commuting time of MRT passengers.
