SMU students work with industry partners on their final-year projects

SMU School of Information Systems’ Associate Professor Benjamin Gan said that the final-year projects aim to let students work on real issues to develop solutions for partners from various industries. This year, six teams were presented with awards for their final-year projects. Team BunnyHop won the Best Value to Sponsor award for its mobile app which allows users to plan for a trip together. Team Scooters developed a Crew Report System for Scoot Airlines, while Team NP, which won the Best Project award, developed apps for a training company which incorporate mini virtual game challenges to make the sessions more fun and interactive for their participants.
