SMU alumna Mrs Shereen Aziz-Williams was recently made an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for public service in race, religious and women's issues. The SMU accountancy graduate currently works as a regional community cohesion coordinator. Mrs Williams is among a small number of Singaporeans who have been awarded MBEs.
