In a commentary SMU Academic Director (MSc in Innovation) and Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources (Education) Thomas Menkhoff discussed the approaches to encourage more innovation in business. He highlighted that “innovation governance” plays a critical role in encouraging more innovation in business, citing the examples of Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), Sheng Siong Group and Biosensors Interventional Technologies Pte Ltd - all of which have won Spring Singapore's Innovation Excellence Awards.
