Eugene Low, 45, became the oldest student in SMU history to be awarded a bachelor's degree, after graduating from the School of Information Systems on Wednesday, July 15. There were 2,348 graduates this year, SMU’s largest batch thus far. Among them this year was the inaugural batch of 10 postgraduates who completed various Master’s programmes under the SMU Warriors Scholarship, which aims to ease the transition of retiring Singapore Armed Forces personnel going into second careers.
