Speaking at the opening plenary of the 5^th DBS Asian Insights Conference, [Chairman of the SMU Board of Trustees and] Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited Mr Ho Kwon Ping cautioned against over-romanticising the notion of entrepreneurship. He was responding to a question of whether it was possible for Singapore to nurture entrepreneurs. Mr Ho added that Singapore is constrained by its size and lack of immediate access to global markets.
