Stroke ends his Everest dream

Seumas Yeo, who recently graduated from SMU, is the youngest of the five-member Alumnaid Team Singapura Everest 2015. The team aims to scale Mount Everest as a way to celebrate SG50. As money was tight among the team even though it had found sponsors, Seumas had to use $4,000 in savings and borrow $16,000 from his parents. Seumas said that he is waiting to finish the expedition before looking for a job.
