SMU has collaborated with the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in a financial awareness programme for about 30 youths. Comprising a total of ten sessions, the first programme was launched last July with its fifth session taking place last night. The programme’s participants are youths from the Adoption Family and Youth Scheme, Debt Advisory Centre and AMP’s Youth Empowerment Programme. According to a statement by AMP, the six-month programme is based on the Citi-SMU financial awareness programme for youths and aims to equip them with important financial knowledge for a strong foundation in financial management.
