Public suggest placing recycling bins in more conspicuous locations

A dialogue session co-organised by SMU green student group SMU Verts, the Nature Society and environmental friendliness consultancy Green Future Solutions was held yesterday on how to reduce the volume of trash. The aim of the session was to gather suggestions that the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources can incorporate into the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint. One of the suggestions put forward is to place the recycling bins in the HDB void decks in a more conspicuous location.
