Auditor-General stepping in shows 'serious concern'
SMU Associate Professor of Accounting (Practice) Themin Suwardy said the Government's move in sending a "very independent" party like the Auditor-General to check on the accounts of the Aljunied-Hougang-Punggol East Town Council shows it wants to clear up any perception of wrongdoing.
