IDA hires data sciences expert to head new unit
Last year, SMU's Living Analytics Research Centre team won the Data Innovation Challenge launched by IDA – which posed a big data problem for industry and other organisations to solve – with a predictive sales forecasting model that was the most accurate and innovative.
