Introducing technical analysis

SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business final-year student Nakul Asthana co-wrote a commentary piece explaining what technical analysis is about. He commented that what makes technical analysis stand out as a stock trading technique is how all that matters is the price and volume of a stock and not its business, financial statements or management. He went on to explain some of the main ideas, including the Dow Theory, and uses of technical analysis.
