Responding to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s announcement on changes to the Cabinet and other political appointments, SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan said that the changes were not significant. However, he highlighted that the appointment of MP (Jurong GRC) Desmond Lee to Minister of State was an indication of the Prime Minister's trust in him.
