Director of the Wee Kim Wee Centre at SMU and Associate Professor of English Literature Kirpal Singh shared his insights on this programme that looked at Singapore’s history through the way Singaporeans played and continue to play. While urbanisation has elevated the simple games played in the early days and developed the new playgrounds of today, Associate Prof Singh said that we need to fuse the simple games of the past and play simply with the new environment that we are invariably caught up in.
