Get free solutions to tricky homework questions - via mobile app

Edusnap - a youth social enterprise founded by SMU final-year students Shaun Tan, 24, Edmund Phuang, 26 and Luck Chia, 25 - has created an app to help level the playing field for low income and academically weaker students. These students would soon be able to download a mobile app to help explain tricky homework questions. They can use it to take a picture of what they cannot understand, and get an answer within a few hours for free from full-time tutors and academically-strong students from low-income families who are paid for their services. Mr Shaun Tan said: "We were lucky enough to be given opportunities. Now we want to help those who do not have these opportunities."
