SMU Associate Professor of Psychology Norman Li was amongst the panel of judges for the Singapore Woman Award, organised by MediaCorp to honour women who have made significant contributions to society.. Ms Porsche Poh, founder of Silver Ribbon (Singapore), was named this year’s winner of the Singapore Woman Award for her work championing the needs of those with mental illness. Also receiving awards were Ms Jane Prior, president of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme, and award-winning children’s book author Emily Lim. Both had been nominated for the Singapore Woman Award.
