Filial piety, being less self-centred and not taking family for granted -- these were some of the topics discussed at the SMU’s inaugural service learning symposium on Saturday. Some 300 students from secondary and tertiary institutions gathered at SMU to share their thoughts on social responsibility andcommunity service.
