The new Geylang-SMU Mentorship Programme would involve thirty-six students from Bedok View Secondary School who are selected and mentored by members of the SMU male and female football teams. The Eagles would act as the main facilitators of the program. Geylang International announced its new club name, logo and various other initiatives, including a new scholarship fund, on Thursday evening. Three selected players, either from the S-League or Prime League, who are accepted into any of the three local universities, would receive $2,500 annually to aid in their education fees.
