Analysts expect Punggol East by-election to be held earliest by September 2013, unlikely in first half of 2013

On when the Punggol East by-election would be held, SMU Assistant Professor of Law and NMP Eugene Tan said the earliest would be third-quarter of 2013, due to the hectic political calendar ahead and the fact that PAP would need more time to screen new candidates.
