Singapore deportations show strains in work force

On the SMRT strike incident, NMP and SMU Assistant Professor of Law Eugene Tan said that it indicated that Singapore's model “may not have kept up with its changing industrial landscape”, and that it raises the question of whether workers are adequately represented and how one would maintain harmonious industrial relations when workers are segmented.
