SMU Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Organisation Joergen Oerstroem Moeller shared his views on how the US and Eurozone could get out of the debt trap. He commented that countries could leave debt levels (the principal) where they were, renew debt when due, and focus on an economic policy that would diminish the net interest burden.
