Alcohol after 12 at supermarkets

24-hour supermarkets are beginning to sell alcohol after midnight, mainly in residential areas. SMU Assoc Prof Sudhi Seshadri points out that such supermarkets are jumping on the bandwagon possibly to attract late night customers who wish to buy alcohol at a cheaper price.
