At the Securities Investors Association of Singapore (SIAS) 10th anniversary dinner yesterday, Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam shared that SMU's Centre for Corporate and Investor Responsibility [under the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics] has developed a corporate governance index, and there is positive correlation between the index and firms' performance.
