With regards to the directions and steps that the Government outlined this week when its agenda was presented via President SR Nathan's Address at the opening of the new session of Parliament, SMU law professor Eugene Tan found them to be comprehensive in outlining the Government's priorities, key challenges and commitment to get things done while SMU economist Davin Chor also reiterated the need to focus on long-term strategic issues.
