Compassionate capitalism
Mr Narayana Murthy, founder-chairman of Indian IT services giant Infosys Technologies and is also SMU board of trustee, is convinced that a combination of globalisation and compassionate capitalism can help tackle global poverty and raise living standards, particularly in a pluralistic democracy such as India.
