SMU alumni Rebecca Kwan and Lavender Chia set up MoguShop, an online Japan-centric grocer during the pandemic, in April last year after graduating from SMU. The pair, who first met at the age of 18 at a track and field competition and were also team mates on the SMU Athletics club, shared why they started the business and the challenges they had to overcome when the pandemic hit.
