SMU student Mandy Chan is one of the co-founders of BOW, a multi-bag startup that was founded in 2016. Due to the circuit breaker that was introduced in April – forcing gyms to be closed – Ms Chan shared that demand for her products dropped, affecting her online sales by about 30 per cent. Ms Chan recounted how her team was able to quickly adapt and make prompt adjustments, to use the downtime to develop new products. BOW has recently launched its latest “anti-virus” all-in-one t-shirt – Anchor – on Kickstarter.
