SMU’s faculty list reads like a who’s who of the professions they represent. For example, SMU School of Information Systems Associate Dean (Education), Professor of Information Systems (Education) Venky Shankararaman is the first academic outside of the USA to be presented the Award for Outstanding Contribution to IS Education by the élite Association of Information Studies. SMU School of Law Associate Dean (Research), Associate Professor of Law Goh Yihan is the youngest recipient of the Singapore Academy of Law Merit Award and youngest Dean to head SMU School of Law.
