Young lawyer creates own fashion label and brings Britpop style to Singapore

SMU law graduate Zhong Xiaohan has created his own fashion brand “Thamesbury” through which he hopes to bring British men’s fashion to Singapore. He started his first e-commerce business in 2012, where he carried and sold American brand watches for men. During a six-month exchange programme in the University of Southampton in 2014, he observed the dressing style of British men and was inspired to bring stylish and unique fashion apparel and accessories to Singaporeans. Thamesbury was founded in July 2014 and broke even within two months. The label now carries menswear and accessories such as cufflinks, ties and wallets.
