Business China Youth Chapter welcomed Peking University students on visits to local companies and landmarks

SMU student Cai Wen Yu wrote a report on the visit of 20 students from the Peking University (PKU) Guanghua School of Management and Yuanpei College to Singapore, from January 18 to 25 this year. The learning programme, hosted by the Business China Youth Chapter in Singapore, saw the students on visits to Breadtalk Group, Keppel Land and other local companies, as well as social welfare organisations such as Chinese Development Assistance Council and Dignity Kitchen, which gave the PKU students an in-depth understanding of Singapore’s economic development and international business models. The students said they were impressed by Singapore’s social development, educational standards, as well as its vibrancy as a nation. They also gained valuable knowledge on Singapore’s governance, corporate environment and achievements.
