SMU is one of the universities that students can attend under the Dr Goh Keng Swee Scholarship Fund offered by the Singaporean Embassy for 2015. The state-scholarship supports up to four years of undergraduate study, provides funds for tuition and other fees, roundtrip airfare to Singapore, and a living allowance. Students from Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar can be selected to pursue undergraduate studies at local universities in Singapore.
