Start-up develops app for hair salon

SMU business graduate Hu Si Ming is the founder of local start-up Gamurai. The start-up has devised an app that enables hairstylists to put virtual wigs on a customer's head on a tablet screen so as to let them try out different hairstyles. Both hairstylists and customers can then communicate better about the hairstyle the customer wants. Hu hopes that the app will be widely adopted across the hairstyling industry and used by every hair salon.
