SMU Vice President, Business Development & External Relations, Associate Professor Annie Koh commented, in an interview with the Hurun Schools Guide, that being the first Singapore university that is modelled after the American system of education, SMU is in the forefront of the country’s educational reform. Associate Prof Koh said that SMU believes that the most important resource for Singapore is its talent. Through SMU’s unique education system and pedagogy, SMU hopes to nurture talents who are confident, analytical, and have versatile and multi-disciplinary skill-sets, enabling them to succeed in the current volatile, uncertain and complex world.
