Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources Tan Hwee Hoon commented on the phenomenon of an increasing number of women re-entering the workforce in Singapore. She pointed out that even if the women are highly educated, they would have lost touch with employment trends and requirements in the corporate sector, and this could limit their options. To prevent this, avenues could be provided for these women to inform them about where the jobs are, and to provide very clear guidelines as to what they should expect in terms of remuneration packages and benefits.
